I've been aligned with the positions of "transhumanism" for a couple of years now, but not active in any respect -- just maintaining a skeptical eye to what's emerging at the technological & scientific edges (e.g., nanotech, biotech, AI, virtual reality, pharmacology, etc.). Of late, I've been reading up on what those opposed to the transhumanist movement have had to say. Some of it is unfounded, while some has grounds for, if anything, consideration.

This video is a bit amusing and somewhat inconsequential, but I thought it worth posting if for no other reason than to stir up some discussion here. I just joined the group and thought I'd introduce myself;-)

i am an expert in propaganda warfare and formal conversational logic.
thats an amusing bit of propaganda you found and doesn't merit comment.

Welcome to the group, sorry if its a non plus on the chit chat material.

I have some serious reservations myself about the ethics which transhumanism raises, and it could be done dystopically.
Which is why we should drive it utopian before the government does it the wrong way anyways.
